1. How did Huracane Katrina affect the U.S., whether it was geographically or politically?
2. I used the terms "huracane," "Katrina," and "political." I for the second set of terms I used "huracane," "Katrina," and "geopgraphy." They gave me a lot of results, so no, thee did not work.
3. I did try putting "political" OR "geography" in the same search, but it did not work; the search only gave me more results.
4. At the end, I endend up with only about 1,000 results. It was still quite a lot, but it was a better number than what it had given me before. I think a number around 300 is appropriate.
5. Only very few answered my question. I had to look in several different results to get a better understanding of my question.
6. Boolean operators help because they define the relationship between words. For example, AND means to use all terms given, OR mean only some, and NOT means not to give results with a certain word in it.

Good question.
I'm also glad you tried these search strategies.
I'm not sure how you spelled "hurricane" in your search, but you need to be exact or you won't get the results you want.
Good exploration!
